Lyme Disease - Online Series
South Eastern Ontario continues to have the highest rates of Lyme in Canada. Join us for the three-session series that will include updates & management errors, Lyme look-alikes and Lyme Disease testing, and Lyme in the pediatric population.
Metamorphosis 2021 – Online Series
This four-session education program for Nurse Practitioner, Physicians, and Interprofessional Colleagues will tackle current topics that keep you awake at night. From vaping to treatment chronic pain, COPD/CHF to clinical thinking.
31st Annual Therapeutics Day – Online Series
At the end of this program, participants will be able to cite evidence-based therapies and explain appropriate management around prominent areas of primary care concern. This program will be describing topics such as SGLT2/Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, new therapies for anxiety and depression, and a review of inhalers for asthma.
Sorting the Horses from the Zebras: Assessing Common Medical Symptoms: When to Worry - Online Series

Patients often go to their family doctor with seemingly simple or common symptoms. Sometimes the symptoms are benign and lead to a relatively benign diagnosis but in some cases they could be indicative of a more serious or rare diagnosis. How do you sort the horses from the zebras during a busy day in the clinic?
At the end of the program participants will have an enhanced understanding of how to assess common medical symptoms that may lead to a complicated and/or rare diagnosis. New this year, we'll feature a special segment called “Keep Calm & Call the DOM: High-Tech Patient Care Close to Home” to showcase our innovative clinical programs of distinction right here in Kingston.
