Palliative Care in Practice: A Practical, 2-Day Continuing Professional Development Event for NPs & their MD/PA colleagues
This program began with a needs assessment distributed to Nurse Practitioners that was reviewed and translated into an event design by the planning committee. The planning committee worked with NPs to develop realistic learning objectives that NPs thought would be realistically useful in their practice. Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, and Physician Assistants are invited to attend this in-person, intensive 2-day program.
Note: This program is currently planned to be held in-person in Kingston, ON. All health and safety measures that are recommended by KFL&A Public Health at the time of the program, including self-screening and proof of COVID-19 vaccination, will be in place. Registrants will be notified in a timely manner should there be any changes to the program format due to public health concerns.
