Brett Babcock, Prospective vocational rehabilitation specialist, yorkipoo dad, and quadriplegic marathon racer and Canadian record holder.

Quadriplegia beyond the medical model
Brett Babcock was focusing on the future and flying high, literally. As a trampolinist, he was travelling the world, winning medals, inspiring young and old alike. While preparing for a competition in Sydney, Australia, Brett’s life changed instantly when he landed on his neck, dislocating his C5 and C6 vertebrae.

That was 11 years ago. Today, Brett continues to inspire. During this session, Brett will talk with Damon Dagnone about his strength to keep fighting, his recovery, regaining his independence, and how his love of sports found him taking a new direction, as a quadriplegic marathon racer.

The recording will be shared with registrants approximately one week after the session.
