Registration opening February 2, 2017 @ 0800
Dr. Melinda Gooderham acts as a preceptor with regard to a two-day dermatology preceptorship program in Peterborough, which will provide a one-on-one learning experience. This preceptorship is offered to nurse practitioners only.
The one-on-one sessions consist of shadowing Dr. Melinda Gooderham for two full days of learning, spending time in the procedure room, and observing Dr. Gooderham. During the second day, patients will be booked for the participating nurse practitioner to see and review with Dr. Gooderham. The nurse practitioner would also be taught to perform procedures on these patients (i.e.: punch biopsies, wart & mole removal/wound treatment, etc.).
The CPD Office will cover Dr. Gooderham’s teaching fees; however, registrants are responsible for a $100 administration fee, in addition to their own expenses and arrangements (i.e.: travel and accommodation).
Registration is based on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to sign up for the mailing list to be notified of upcoming programs of this nature, please click here.
