Queen’s Health Sciences Overview
Queen’s Health Sciences comprises three schools: School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Rehabilitation Therapy. These three schools house a number of academic and clinical training programs including: undergraduate programs in life sciences, biochemistry, and health sciences. Graduate programs in anatomical sciences, aging & health, biomedical and molecular science, health quality, health leadership, public health sciences, medical sciences, neuroscience, nursing, pathology & molecular medicine, rehabilitation science, and translational medicine. As well as clinical programs such as the bachelor of nursing, accelerated nursing, advanced nursing, nurse practitioner, occupational therapy, physical therapy, medical doctorate, and 33 postgraduate medical education programs across multiple specialties. Learning activities take place across several sites, including the Kingston main campus, the Lakeridge Health campus, clinical placements in the KFL&A area and regional sites such as Lakeridge Health, Belleville-Quinte, and Peterborough-Kawartha.
