Dr. Jessica Trier is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Queen’s University. Her clinical interests include acquired brain injury rehabilitation, electrodiagnostic medicine, and spasticity management. She is currently the Program Director for the PM&R residency training program. She has previously held other education leadership roles such as the department CBME lead, Competence Committee chair, Academic Coach, and UGME education director for PM&R. She teaches residents and medical students in the clinical learning environment. Her program of research explores coaching relationships between residents and clinical teachers, and strategies to foster psychologically safe learning environments.
