Eknoor Kaur Thind is a fourth-year Bachelor of Health Sciences student at Queen’s University, passionate about advancements in medical education to drive systemic change. She has contributed to research focused on the assessment of Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) in psychiatry, conducted by the Department of Psychiatry in collaboration with Office of Professional Development and Education Scholarship (OPDES) at Queen’s University, and is currently involved in a social medicine curriculum study. Her research interests broadly encompass medical education, early intervention in mental health, metabolic psychiatry, innovative neurostimulation techniques, and trauma-related mood disorders. Eknoor strongly believes that improving education and literacy within healthcare will foster a more knowledgeable and compassionate healthcare workforce, thereby enhancing early intervention strategies in mental health and improving overall health outcomes.
