Dr. David Taylor is a general internist in the Department of Medicine at Queen’s University in Canada. He has served in various education roles at Queen’s, and is currently the core residency program director. He obtained his Master’s in Health Professions Education at the University of Illinois, Chicago, focusing his work on competency-based medical education (CBME). He participated in the team developing the Entrustable Professional Activities for undergraduate medical education in Canada. In addition, he helped lead the Internal Medicine Specialty Committee at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in developing the EPAs for Internal Medicine residency training. Most recently he has been kept busy rolling out CBME at Queen’s University.
