Dr. Natasha Satkunam
Dr. Natasha Satkunam is a Hematologist and Assistant Professor who treats Aplastic Anemia as well as related blood disorders and supervises hematology residents at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. She leads the hematology/blood course for Undergraduate Medical Students and mentors Fellows entering this practice space at Queen’s University.
Dr. Janique Dyba
Dr. Janique Dyba is a clinical hematologist and the director of the acute leukemia program at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. She completed her medical studies at the University of Queensland in Australia and completed her Internal medicine and Hematology residency at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. She has clinical and research interests in myelodysplasia and acute leukemia.
Dr. Laura Wheaton
Dr. Laura Wheaton is a practicing pediatric hematologist who maintains a pediatrics-specialized hematology practice with sub-foci in treating blood-related cancers such as Aplastic Anemia and Leukemia.
Dr. Oksana Motalo, MD, FRCPC
Queens's Hematology graduate and an outstanding resident award recipient in 2023. Currently a fellow in the stem cell transplant and cellular therapy (TCT) program at the university of Ottawa.
Dr. Wynn Peterson
Dr. Wynn Peterson is a general hematologist at Humber River Health in Toronto, Ontario. She completed her medical degree and internal medicine residency at the University of Toronto, followed by her hematology residency at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.
Dr. Roslyn Mainland
Roslyn Mainland completed medical school at the University of Toronto and is currently an Internal Medicine resident at Queen's University. She is interested in Medical Education and has been involved in projects related to a variety of topics within Hematology, including Vitamin C deficiency in Ontario, point-of-care ultrasound to detect splenomegaly, and iron deficiency anemia among patients with heart failure.
