This program was developed in consultation with local primary care physicians. Cardiac care providers will review the newest strategies and discuss the most up-to-date guidelines to enable the primary healthcare professional to optimize care for their patients living with cardiac disease. The participant will more accurately interpret ECGs, more confidently adjust medications for their cardiac patients, and better understand the testing and procedures available through the KHSC cardiac program.
Pricing:
-$200 for Physicians
-$100 for Allied Health Professionals including but not limited to: RN, RN(EC), PA, Pharmacist, dietitians, physiotherapists, social workers (etc.)
-Free for Residents and Students
Credits:
This Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Queen’s University for up to 5.5 Mainpro+ credits. This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and is approved by the Office of Continuing Professional Development, Queen’s University. You may claim a maximum of 5.5 hours.
