PhDHQ FAQ

Update:  HQ Programs is monitoring the Covid-19 situation closely and is deferring to the most recent communications from the University when announcing the status of the 2021 on-campus intensive courses. All other PhDHQ courses will continue to run online as normal. We appreciate your patience during these challenging times. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

Students will attend two (2) in-person intensive week sessions that include face-to-face seminars, opportunities to develop a learning community, and interact academically and network with their peers. The intensive weeks normally take place at the start of each term during the first year (fall and winter) at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

In the first (fall) intensive period, other activities will be scheduled to help orient students to the program and resources including: sessions with the Health Sciences librarian; information technology specialists to introduce and ensure access to the learning management system (onQ); and ensuring they have the necessary software and hardware on their computer for the online elements of the program.
