Jen Valberg appointed as Director, Marketing and Communications for the Faculty of Health Sciences
Denis Bourguignon, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) for the Faculty of Health Sciences, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jen Valberg as the Director, Marketing & Communications, Faculty of Health Sciences.
This new role will align resources and workflow with the needs of the Faculty’s marketing, communications and recruitment strategies, strengthen relationships and provide support to departments and units across the Faculty while continuing to collaborate and align with University Relations and the Integrated Communications team centrally. This position reports to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer.
Jen has been with the Faculty of Health Sciences for four years, serving as Senior Communications Officer. In addition to supporting the Dean’s communications portfolio and strategic planning for the Faculty and School of Medicine, she has led the development and implementation of key communications and marketing strategies for the Faculty.
In her new role, Jen will continue to chair the Faculty of Health Sciences marketing & communications working group. This group has grown to include representation from many programs, departments and units across the faculty, providing support, information and resources to those who have communications or marketing functions across the faculty. Our marketing, communications and recruitment team will continue to provide support to the Faculty, working on both internally and externally facing marketing and communications initiatives.
