With the goal of excellence in clinical care and patient welfare, the Faculty of Health Sciences has provided simulation based education for thousands of health sciences students in clinical and surgical skills over the past 7 years.
Located on the campus of Queen’s University in the heart of historic Kingston, Ontario, the GSK Clinical Education Centre is a unique educational facility synonymous with the “caring” part of health care.
The Clinical Teaching Centre (CTC), located on the Ground floor of the School of Medicine Building, is the primary location for the teaching of physical examination skills, conducting standardized patient examinations, and administering OSCEs.
Queens University has run a successful Standardized Patient Program since 1992 and consists of a team of over 100 experienced standardized patients(SP). We strive to provide a safe and realistic environment in which professionals from all fields can practice their skills.
The Medical School building, located at 15 Arch Street, is the home base for Undergraduate Medical Education students and houses lecture spaces, group rooms, labs and video conferencing services available for booking.
