To acknowledge and recognize Dr. Richard Reznick’s leadership at Queen’s University, nationally, and internationally, and with the financial support of alumni, benefactors and friends, the Faculty of Health Sciences would like to establish the Reznick Scholars in Health Professions Education.
The Reznick Scholars program will honour the commitment and dedication that Dr. Reznick has contributed as a leader and educator to improve the quality of health care and health professions education. His work is internationally recognized to have advanced Canada’s health system thereby enhancing the health of Canadians.
The establishment of the Reznick Scholars program provides an opportunity to further showcase Queen’s commitment to health professions education and improved patient outcomes. The program will be open to all Queen’s Faculty of Health Sciences faculty members, and recipients will make up a cohort over time of individuals committed to health professions education. Recipients will be publicly acknowledged as Reznick Scholars during the remainder of their career.
