Dr. Lawson is an Associate Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy. Her research is in the field of Renal Rehabilitation. Current projects focus on developing evidence-based guidelines to support the delivery of rehabilitation programs to persons living with chronic renal disease across the renal failure spectrum (pre-dialysis, dialysis, and transplant). She has a related interest in tele-rehabilitation, and other innovative technologies that can be used to bridge the distances between health care providers who are either engaged in or interested in developing exercise programs for renal failure patients.
