The Fall 2021 CPD Subscription includes over 25 hours of accredited online professional development between August 26 and December 7. 


The following programs are ncluded in the Fall CPD Subscription:

  • Back to School Psychological Considerations - Online Series
    • This new program being developed by psychologists Drs. Allyson Harrison and Beth Pollock with the support of a truly interprofessional planning committee will include topics such as: Return to Classroom - Challenges and considerations for primary care providers, ADHD diagnosis in the landscape of COVID, and Supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they resume the "new normal." 
       
  • 5th Annual Allergy Symposium - Online Series
    • Allergy Symposium Kingston is back with topics that include: Food Allergy Updates for 2021, Allergy 101 – A primer on common conditions for primary Care, Updates in Asthma Diagnosis and Management, and Approach to Drug, Vaccine and Venom Allergy for Primary Care.
       
  • 3rd Annual Queen’s Department of Family Medicine CPD Program – Online Series
    • Join Queen's Department of Family Medicine for this year's Online CPD Series. Topics will include: Menopause, Diabetes: New Meds and Beyond, Approach to Tremors, Pediatric Growth Issues, and Ask the MOH/Hot Topics in Public Health.
       
  • 2021 Pediatrics Update - Online Series
    • The popular Pediatrics Update program will feature two on-demand modules and three Zoom sessions. Topics for this year's program include: Pediatric Oral Health in Primary Care, Pediatric Gyne Hot Topics: Vaginitis and Implantable contraceptives, Cannabis use in children and youth: seeds, green shoots and weed, Funny Spells, and Age-Appropriate Lab Interpretations.
       
  • 44th Annual Obstetrics & Gynaecology Memorial Program - Online Series
    • After 44 years, the Obstetrics & Gynaecololgy Memorial Program is still going strong! Join us this year for sessions that are expected to include: Approach to Complex Caesarean Section, Misoprostol for Induction of Labour, Contraception Update, Pregnancy of Unknown Location, Thyroid and Infertility, Beyond Hysterectomy - Options for Management of Heavy Bleeding, and Management of Benign Ovarian Mass.
       
  • 5th Annual Primary Care Nephrology - Online Series
    • The Nephrology Team is back to bring you another exciting program.  This year's online series will cover topics such as Chronic Kidney Disease in Evolution, CKD & Diabetes, Indigenous Kidney Health, Home Dialysis, and  Live Kidney Donation/Transplantation in the Era of COVID-19 Pandemic: A Glance on the Past. 

Session Recordings:

  • Online sessions included in the CPD Subscription will be recorded and will be made available a week after the online session is completed. 
  • You can find session recordings by logging into CPD Program Centre, selecting CPD Subscription – Fall 2021 from your "Dashboard" & clicking on "Community"
  • Individual Fall Zoom session recordings & modules will remain available in CPD Program Centre until June 1, 2022.


 

Unable to attend all sessions? We will record all Zoom sessions so that you can watch them on your own time.
