As an Associate Professor, Dr. Woo has dedicated time to mentoring and educating students, healthcare-care professionals, and patients on wound care prevention.
Currently, Dr. Woo is working along side Queen’s PhD student Jake Tran. Their research project, which has received funding from the CABHI, aims to prevent pressure injuries sustained in hospitals by monitoring skin temperature, pressure and moisture of high-risk elderly patients.
