Bracken Library launches two new resources
Bracken Library is pleased to announce two new resources this fall. The first one is Read By QxMD. If you are not familiar with this app, we believe you will be very happy to join the many users who find it amazing: the links to full-text purchased by Queen’s or free on the web are literally one click away. You can create a profile with your favourite journals, your areas of interest and specific keywords and email reminders let you know when new content is available. It is available for iPhone, iPad, Android and web. The following install link works from any device while on campus: http://qxmd.com/read. Note: if you had the app before, you may need to delete and install it again to ensure that the linking to the Queen’s journals will work.
The second resource is Psychotherapy.net. Via this link you have access to a series of 100 videos to support learning in psychotherapy. The videos were chosen by the faculty and residents in the Department of Psychiatry. We are expecting that many videos will be useful in any mental health program on campus.
Please contact the library if you, or a group/department, would like a librarian to demonstrate the new resources. You can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 613-533-2510 and also if you have any questions about these resources.
