General Information

The Faculty of Health Sciences is responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs and for the programs of the School of Rehabilitation Therapy and the School of Nursing. Sessional dates and academic regulations relating to the School of Rehabilitation Therapy and the School of Nursing are published in their Calendars. The Life Sciences program, administered by the Associate Dean, Life Sciences, is outlined in the Faculty of Arts and Science Calendar.

The administrative offices for the School of Medicine are located at 80 Barrie Street and the Office of the Associate Dean, Life Sciences, is located in 224 Botterell Hall; the School of Rehabilitation Therapy is in the Louise D. Acton Building; and the School of Nursing is in the Cataraqui Building. 

Memorandum of Understanding - Faculty of Health Sciences

Effective July 1, 1997, the School of Nursing and the Faculty of Medicine (including the School of Rehabilitation Therapy, Medicine, and Basic Medical Sciences components of the Faculty of Medicine) were integrated and re-named the Faculty of Health Sciences. The Memorandum of Understanding between the School of Nursing, School of Rehabilitation Therapy and the Faculty of Medicine with respect to the establishment of a Faculty of Health Sciences is available here.
