Dr. Brogly joined Queen’s Department of Surgery in 2014 after spending 12 years in Boston where she held appointments as academic faculty of the Department of Epidemiology at the Boston University School of Public Health and research faculty at the Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research at the Harvard School of Public Health. She has published over 65 scientific articles, serves on grant review boards for the CIHR and NIH, and is a recipient of the Boston University School of Public Health Excellence in Teaching Award and the Randall Coates New Investigator Memorial Award.
Dr. Brogly received her PhD and MSc in epidemiology from McGill University, and a BSc in chemical engineering from Queen’s University. She currently teaches in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Queen's University and the Department of Epidemiology at the Boston University School of Public Health.

Research in Progress
Surgical outcomes, obstetrical outcomes, and perinatal outcomes using the population-based data at ICES; community based studies of neonatal abstinence syndrome; and an international collaboration of interpregnancy intervals of pregnancy outcomes. Current funding includes grants from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (PI) and the CIHR (Co-I, Dr. Sunil Patel PI).
