Dr. Setareh Ghahari is an Associate Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy. Dr. Ghahari's research has focused primarily on development and evaluation of interventions to support individuals in gaining knowledge, skills and confidence needed to manage their health conditions and access and navigate services and opportunities with specific focus on two populations: (1) people who live with chronic health conditions and (2) immigrants, a population who experience many access barriers. I teach Cognitive-neurological Determinants in the Occupational Therapy program, and Critical Inquiry Foundations for occupational therapy and physical therapy students. Dr. Ghahari also teach Chronic Disease Self-management to Aging and Health program students.
