4th Annual Update for the Hospitalist
By the end of this program, participants will be able to: Collaborate with the hospitalist community (peers and experts) to leverage shared knowledge and resources. Recall key findings from presentations and implement advances in hospitalist care to enhance provider competencies and improve patient care.
CBME Program Leaders Workshop XII
Continuing on with the requirement to hold several workshops to assist faculty, program directors and CBME leads with the transition to a CBME system. Program to be determined.

Educating Family Physicians in Palliative Care
This course is funded by the Ministry of Health, Kingston Area Long-term Care Division. There is no registration fee, only a $100 deposit which will be returned when you complete the course. Eligibility Family physicians living within LHIN 9 and LHIN 10 are eligible to participate in the program. This program runs from Thursday - Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Please see the attached SAMPLE agenda from a previous session which outlines a typical schedule for the program.  All topics will be address but order may vary.
Addictions 2018
Description for the Addictions and Substance Abuse program: The planning committee for the Addictions and Substance Abuse program is pleased to host such a line-up of experts in this challenging area of medicine. This program will discuss new guidelines on how to safely use opioids, examine the use of cannabinoids by a leading expert and showcase new initiatives from the Kingston House of Recovery for Women and Children to a new deprescribing program.
5th Annual Department of Medicine Day
Credits: This Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Queen's University for up to 6.25 Mainpro+ credits.  This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and is approved by the Office of Continuing Professional Development, Queen's University.  You may claim a maximum of 6.25 hours.
