Dermatology Preceptorship for NPs

Take Part in our Dermatology Preceptorships for Nurse Practitioners

Dr. Melinda Gooderham (Dermatologist) acts as a preceptor with regard to a two-day dermatology preceptorship program in Peterborough, which will provide a one-on-one learning experience.  The CPD Office will cover Dr. Gooderham’s teaching fees and registrants would be responsible for a $100 administration fee, along with their own expenses and arrangements for travel and accommodation.

The one-on-one sessions consist of shadowing Dr. Melinda Gooderham for a full day of learning, spending time in the procedure room, observing Dr. Gooderham and on the 2nd day patients will be booked for the Nurse Practitioner to see and review with Dr. Gooderham. The Nurse Practitioner would also be taught to perform procedures on these patients (for example punch biopsies, wart & mole removal/wound treatment, etc.)
