Description: During this session, participants will explore the understanding, application and manifestation of unconscious bias in the admissions process. Participants will be provided with an opportunity to reflect on their biases as well as the implications of these biases in decision making.
Description: During this interactive session, participants will explore anti-oppression and its manifestations in both the personal and professional realm. Through the use of, health care related case studies, participants will be practice and hone their anti-oppressive skills.
Description: During this session, participants will learn about Human Rights Advisory Services. In addition, participants will learn how to receive and respond to a disclosure related harassment, discrimination and/or gender-based violence.
Description: The focus of these 60 minute sessions is on policy revisions, roles and responsibilities of employees who receive a disclosure of sexual violence from a student and how to respond to a disclosure. The sessions include a 10-15 minute Q&A opportunity. Presented by Barb Lotan, Sexual Violence Prevention & Response Coordinator.
