Each year the Office of Interprofessional Education and Practice recognizes students who have demonstrated interprofessional leadership at Queen’s University and beyond.
The Award of Merit
The Award of Merit is given annually to students at Queen’s University for their contributions to interprofessional initiatives in the spirit of collaboration. Students are awarded individual plaques that will be presented at Faculty Board.
The Award of Excellence
This distinction is awarded annually to a student at Queen’s University who demonstrates dedication and excellence in promoting interprofessional education and collaboration during her/his student career. A hand-blown glass trophy is housed in Bracken Library with each recipient’s name displayed. Small replicas of the trophy are given to the recipients and will be presented at Faculty Board.
