Putting the Care Back into Healthcare: Facilitating Positive Experiences for both Patients & Providers
The Queen’s Health Interprofessionals Student Society (QHIP) is hosting the National Health Sciences Students’ Association annual conference on March 6 and 7, 2015. QHIP consists of students from multiple professions including nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, medicine and clinical psychology.
Friday, March 6th, 6-9pm
Interprofessional teams from five different universities will compete against each other to solve a health care challenge. Participating universities include Alberta, Dalhousie, Ottawa, Toronto, and Queen's. Please join us in the Biosciences Building (Room 1101) for this exciting event.
Saturday, March 7th, 7am-8pm
The conference includes a series of lectures from Françoise Mathieu, Prof. Diana Hopkins-Rosseel, Andrea Adrecyk, Cathy LeSage, Dr. Kathleen Norman, Dr. Salina Horgan, and Dr. Leslie Bainbridge, a panel presentation from Heather Armstrong, Glenn Outhwaite, and Ruth Wilson, as well as a poster presentation in the Biosciences atrium.
